Return & Refund Policy

We are committed to your satisfaction. Please read this policy carefully before initiating a return.


Return Eligibility

A return request will be considered only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is raised within 2 days of delivery.
  • The item is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition with packaging and price tags intact.
  • The item is not listed under the Non-Returnable Items section below.
  • Proof of delivery (photo or video) and order details are provided.

Requests raised after 2 days of delivery will not be accepted.


How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Email care@kitabkopy.com with your order number, reason for return, and supporting photos or video.

Step 2: Our team will review your request within 2 business days and issue a Return Authorisation (RA) if eligible.

Step 3: Securely pack the item with a copy of your invoice and ship it to:

Step 4: Share the return tracking number with our support team once dispatched.

Important: Returns sent without a Return Authorisation will not be accepted and may be sent back to you at your expense.


Return Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item or damaged item).
  • If a prepaid return label is arranged by our team, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service. We are not responsible for items lost during return transit.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless received in a damaged or defective condition:

  • NCERT textbooks
  • Notebooks and stationery
  • Sample papers and question banks
  • Competitive exam and preparation books
  • OldiZGold and stock clearance books
  • Any item that has been used, written in, highlighted, or tampered with

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
  • An email confirmation is sent once your refund is processed.
  • Refunds are generally issued as store credit.
  • If the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item), a bank / UPI refund will be offered instead.
  • The ₹50 COD convenience fee is non-refundable in all cases.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error is ours.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are available for wrong editions or defective items only.
  • Exchange requests must be raised within 2 days of delivery with photo or video evidence.
  • Availability of the replacement item is subject to stock.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or wrong item:

  • We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video before opening the packet.
  • Email care@kitabkopy.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos, and the unboxing video.
  • We will arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return shipping — at no cost to you.

Partially Paid Orders

  • If you placed an order with a 30% advance payment and refuse delivery, the advance is non-refundable.
  • If the product is unavailable on our end, your advance will be refunded in full within 5–7 business days.
